HPAIR Asia Conference 2014 in Tokyo

Apply and be a part of the 2014 HPAIR Asia Conference in Tokyo!

Applications for the 2014 HPAIR Asia Conference in Tokyo are now open. The Conference will be held from August 22 – 26, 2014.

This year’s partner university is Keio University in Tokyo, whose local organizing committee will jointly host the 2014 HPAIR Asia Conference under the title of „Reflection and Progression: Fostering Mutual Growth.“

Applications can be entered until the 31th of May, and conference registration must be completed by July 10th. Please visit for more information and apply online.

We are proud to announce our new Facebook presence Asian Affairs, an open academic forum of SPAIR e.V.

Asian Affairs sheds light on current affairs within business and politics of Asia. Curated by SPAIR’s Christian E. Rieck, you will find updated links and comments to news stories on a range of online publications. Christian Rieck is Senior Analyst at Brussels-based Global Governance Institute and a lecturer at Berlin’s Humboldt University. He brings a wealth of knowledge from previous engagements and studies at Oxford University, Hamburg-based think tank GIGA and others to Asian Affairs.

Looking Back – SPAIR Summer Seminar 2012

Be a part of Argentina’s SABF 2012!

SPAIR, the Asia network for students in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, is delighted to invite all students to apply for the 2012 South American Business Forum.

SABF will take place in Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires from August 3-5, and is organized by students of the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA). Applicants must be born on January 1st, 1986 or later, and need to write a motivational essay to become one of 100 selected participants from all over the world.

Similar to the past conferences, this year’s SABF will shed more light on issues pertaining to South America’s role in an interconnected world. With 40 speakers from international corporations, institutes, and organizations, participants have a first-rate opportunity to expand their knowledge about South America. Delegates can also take part in the accompanying program and visit sites around Buenos Aires.

Applications are now being accepted on SABF’s website until May 6th, 2012.

Taiwan Scholarships
